HERITAGE LEARNING JOURNEY: PERANAKAN EDITION

Begin your journey with a hands-on ondeh ondeh making session at Kim Choo Kueh Chang, a household name celebrated for its traditional Peranakan delicacies. Follow which, soak in the authentic charm of the Peranakan heritage as you don the elegant Traditional Kebaya and Baju, exclusively at Rumah Kim Choo like the cast of Emerald Hill – The Little Nyonya Story, appreciate the beautifully preserved heritage shophouse, and be introduced to some Peranakan motifs employed.

HERITAGE LEARNING JOURNEY: CANTONESE EDITION

Connect with Cantonese heritage and the legacy of performing arts in Singapore by visiting Pat Wo Wui Kun (新加坡八和会馆), one of Singapore’s oldest clan associations. Discover the rich history of this Cantonese clan and its deep connection to Cantonese opera, a treasured art form passed down through generations.

HERITAGE LEARNING JOURNEY: HAINANESE EDITION

Join us for a delightful Hainanese Food Journey where food and tradition come together and explore Hainanese heritage through the flavours and stories that have shaped it.

Learn to make Yi Bua – a traditional glutinous rice kueh through a hands-on session that offers an authentic glimpse into Hainanese culinary heritage and bring home a goodie bag prepared by All Things Hainanese.

HERITAGE LEARNING JOURNEY: TEOCHEW EDITION

Connect with Teochew heritage and discover the rich traditions of Teochew culture as our journey begins at Eng Tiang Huat, a cultural shop known for its traditional trades and artefacts.

Join us for a hands-on Png Kueh making session to learn how to prepare this iconic Teochew rice cake. Finally, enjoy a lively nursery rhyme session led by veteran Teochew radio newscaster Mr Lim Ngian Tiong.
